One of the questions I get asked most often is:
"Where do you see Forward Science in five years?" It's a great question.
Every January, we spend a lot of time planning for the year ahead. We set goals, establish priorities, and define what success looks like over the next 12 months.
But every summer, we take a step back and ask a different question: Where are we headed in the next decade?
I've always believed that if you want to know where you're going, you first have to understand where you've been.
When Brian and I started Forward Science in a spare bedroom and garage, we weren't thinking about where we'd be ten years later. We were focused on building the right foundation. We wanted to create innovative technologies, support clinicians, and ultimately change lives.
One day at a time. One product at a time. One customer at a time.
Over the years, those small steps turned into FDA-cleared products, manufacturing facilities, educational platforms, research partnerships, and a growing team committed to moving science forward.
So where do I see Forward Science in five years?
I see us continuing to do what we've always done: Innovate.
I see us expanding the reach of the products we've worked so hard to develop. I see more clinicians, more patients, and more partners gaining access to technologies that improve oral health and quality of life.
I see PerioStōm® playing a major role in that future.
PerioStōm is one of the most exciting innovations we've ever brought to market, and I truly believe we're only beginning to understand its potential. Through continued research, education, and clinical studies, we'll keep exploring how this technology can help even more patients in the years ahead.
I also see us continuing to invest in what makes Forward Science unique: Our people. Our manufacturing capabilities. Our research and development efforts. Our commitment to building products right here in the United States.
The next five to ten years won't be about standing still. They'll be about growing, improving, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Because the future doesn't build itself. It starts with the decisions we make today.
And if the first decade of Forward Science taught us anything, it's that when you stay committed to your mission, continue investing in innovation, and never stop learning, incredible things can happen. The future is bright.
